Over €2.6 million raised across our global network for Ukraine
Thanks to the generous donations from our valued Circle K customers, we raised over €2.6 million in our stores globally through our “You donate, we’ll match” campaign in aid of Ukrainian relief efforts. In Ireland, customers and the local community donated a total of €136,950 which was matched by the company.
Through partnering with local businesses, sports clubs, schools and associations in accepting and matching the monies raised via their fundraising initiatives, we were able to drive the total funds raised for the Red Cross in Ireland.
All funds have been donated directly to the IFRC (International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies) to provide lifesaving aid to those in need including food, shelter, critical care items, and first aid.
The armed conflict in Ukraine continues to have a profound impact on many of the communities we serve. Our company has a strong presence in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Poland with over 6,500 team members and over 600 stores. We are grateful to our team members in bordering countries who continue to support Ukraine relief efforts through various local volunteering, fundraising, and recruitment initiatives.
