Introducing Our New Three-Year Partnership with Pieta to Support Mental Health Across Ireland
Supporting the communities we serve has always been a core part of who we are at Circle K. Today, we’re proud to launch a new three-year partnership with Pieta, focused on helping ensure mental health support is available to those who need it most, when they need it.
Over the next three years, Circle K has committed to raising €1 million, supporting Pieta’s vital work in providing free, professional counselling to people experiencing suicidal ideation, those engaging in self-harm, and individuals and families bereaved by suicide.
Supporting Communities Across Ireland and Northern Ireland
Mental health support is needed in every community, which is why this three-year partnership extends across the island of Ireland. Alongside Pieta in the Republic of Ireland, customer donations in Northern Ireland will support PIPS Suicide Prevention Ireland, ensuring funds raised locally go directly towards supporting people within their own communities.
Together, this partnership helps make sure professional mental health support is accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, no matter where someone lives.
A Simple Way to Make a Difference
To mark the launch of the partnership, Circle K is introducing a simple way for customers to support these essential services. On 15 January:
- 1c from every litre of fuel sold in the Republic of Ireland will be donated to Pieta
- 1p from every litre sold in Northern Ireland will be donated to PIPS Suicide Prevention Ireland*
It’s a small everyday action that can make a meaningful difference, helping to fund crisis support and suicide prevention services across the country.
Continuing a Longstanding Commitment
This new three-year partnership builds on Circle K’s ongoing support for Pieta over many years. Each year, we provide free tea and coffee to participants of the Darkness Into Light walk, welcoming people back into our stores after the event and offering a moment of warmth and connection.
More recently, Circle K supported Pieta through the Coast to Coast fundraising initiative, helping to raise both awareness and vital funds for its life-saving services.
Looking Ahead
With a nationwide network and a strong local presence, Circle K is committed to playing a meaningful role in supporting mental health across Ireland over the long term. This three-year partnership with Pieta and PIPS reflects a shared belief in care, compassion, and community — and a commitment to ensuring help is always there for those who need it.
