Sales Market Manager, South East
Peter has been in the oil industry for over 35 years, working for Jet, Statoil and Circle K. He started out as a Marketing Assistant responsible for supporting the Retail Area Managers. From there, he moved to the role of Dealer Representative for the Midlands and then in Dublin. When Jet was sold to Statoil, Peter moved into the role of Company Area Manager responsible for licensee sites in Leinster, managing profitability and overall site performance. This was followed by a period as Distributor Area Manager in Leinster, managing key distributors ensuring targets were met and health and safety polices adhered to. Peter is currently Sales Market Manager for the East, responsible for managing the existing Circle K Dealer network in his area, implementing all Circle K marketing campaigns and initiatives, and identifying key opportunities to grow and develop the Circle K Retail network. He is also responsible for providing Health & Safety support and advice to site operators.
Sales Market Manager, South West
Tony has worked in the oil industry for over 34 years, starting out in the BP Cork Oil Depot, working in the scheduling department. He moved to Dublin in the early 1980s and worked in the areas of procurement and supply. He worked as Sales Market Manager for BP in the North West in the late 1980s after which he moved back to Cork, working in both the commercial and retail sectors. Tony has been a Company Area Manager, responsible for site profitability, standards and staff, and is currently Sales Market Manager in the South having also carried out this role in the West. Tony is responsible for managing the existing Circle K Dealer network in his area, implementing all Circle K marketing campaigns and initiatives, and identifying key opportunities to grow and develop the Circle K Retail network. He is also responsible for providing Health & Safety support and advice to site operators.
Sales Market Manager, Northern Ireland
Richard is based in Belfast and is responsible for managing the existing Circle K Dealer network in his area, implementing all Circle K marketing campaigns and initiatives, and identifying key opportunities to grow and develop the Circle K Retail network. He has over 16 years experience in the oil industry working for Shell and then moving to Circle K. He started as a Company Area Manager for Northern Ireland, where his responsibilities included managing store profitability and site standards across 13 locations. He moved to the role of Sales Market Manager in 2001, where he has overseen the transition in branding from Shell to Topaz and been responsible for growing the presence of the Circle K brand in both Northern Ireland and Donegal. He is also responsible for providing Health & Safety support and advice to site operators. Richards previous experience includes working for Coca Cola and a number of fast food and restaurant outlets. His qualifications include a BA in Business Studies, a Masters in Business Administration and a Degree in Psychology and a Masters in Occupational Psychology.
Sales Market Manager, North West
Enda has over 14 years experience working in the forecourt industry having previously worked for Shell and Statoil before joining Circle K. Previous to this Enda worked in management positions in Dunnes Stores throughout Ireland. He has worked in a number of rolls in Circle K including recruitment, loss prevention, fraud detection and administration controls. Having managed a number of high profile sites and most recently our station in Dublin Port Enda brings a wealth of experiences and fully understands the concerns and issues facing retailers today. Enda puts a strong emphasis on sales, staff engagement, customer loyalty and food safety while always focused on HSE.
Sales Market Manager, Leinster
Peter has worked within the oil industry for almost 20 years having joined Esso Ireland Ltd. In 1996. Peter started off his career in Lubricants as an Area Manager responsible for the Sales and Marketing of Passenger Vehicle Lubes. Peter set up a Distributor Network to sell Esso Lubricants as well as developing sales channels directly through the OEM vehicle importers and the Franchised dealer networks. In 1999 Peter added the Mobil range of Lubricants to his portfolio after the merger of Esso & Mobil. In 2002 Peter Joined the Dealer Team working in the Leinster area looking after the Esso Dealers network and negotiating to sign both existing and new dealer sites. Peters territory grew over the next few years along with his responsibilities. Peter was the primary contact for the Esso Image contract, all advertising in trade publications, Credit management and was part of the emergency response team for the JFT in Alexandra Road. In 2010 Peter was appointed to the role of Business Venture Manager with a focus on developing Group business for Esso. Peter had to identify opportunities to grow and develop the Esso Retail Network through Groups in The Republic of Ireland. Peter continues to look after the existing Circle K Dealer Network in his area, implementing all Circle K marketing campaigns and initiatives, and identifying key opportunities to grow and develop the Circle K Retail Network. He is also responsible for providing Health & Safety support and advice to site operators.
Sales Market Manager, Midwest
Fred has worked within the oil industry for over 25 years having joined Esso Ireland Ltd. In 1990. Fred started off his Esso career at the Alexandra Road Oil Terminal, working within the Orderpoint Department having responsibilities for fuels order taking and subsequent scheduling. Fred was then seconded to Esso Serve Europe as Orderpoint Group Head having responsibility for the Delivery Management function across Ireland, Norway & Switzerland and was Manchester based. Upon his repatriation back to Esso Ireland in 2002, Fred became a Territory Manager within the Company Owned network having responsibility for COCO & Licensee Sites in Cork, Galway, Limerick, Tipperary & Waterford. In 2006 Fred relocated back to Dublin and went on secondment to Esso Irelands subsidiary IROC (Irish Retail Operating Company) as a Territory Manager within the On the Run portfolio having responsibility for health & safety, managing profitability, staff and overall site performance. In 2010 Fred relocated back to Cork as a Dealer Territory Manager and remained in that position until the Circle K. acquisition of Esso Ireland Ltd. Fred is currently a Sales Market Manager for the South & West, responsible for managing the existing Circle K Dealer network in his area, implementing all Circle K marketing campaigns and initiatives, and identifying key opportunities to grow and develop the Circle K Retail network. He is also responsible for providing Health & Safety support and advice to site operators.

Gillian joined Circle K in 2011 and has worked in the roles of Group Marketing Manager and Head of Marketing before her appointment to Retail Operations Programme Manager for Franchise. During her marketing career in Circle K Gillian has led the development of strategic marketing initiatives for Circle K including the development of the Re.Store brand, and the award winning Play or Park loyalty programme as well as the delivery of successful marketing initiatives. Gillian has led a team of marketing professionals in managing a diverse portfolio of brands, delivering consumer insights and world class marketing communications and promotions for our company owned sites and dealer network. Gillian has almost 20 years experience in retail holding senior manager roles in Boots Ireland and now Circle K Ireland. Gillian is responsible for managing the successful, quality implementation of all new Franchise sites. Maintaining oversight, control and governance of all sites plans and acting as the link between the channel and head office departments. Gillians qualifications include a Graduateship in Marketing, MMII (Grad).
Senior Sales Manager (Franchise)
Damian joined Circle K in December 2015 as the Head of Retail Operations managing 84 of our company owned sites before being appointed to Head of Retail Operations for the franchise channel. Damian has over 20 years experience working in the retail sector for a number of organizations including Vodafone UK, Vodafone Ireland and globally as the Head of Retail for Digicel Asia-Pacific. Damian has championed the startup and rollout of new retail/franchise channels and the development of existing franchise retail operations, selling and developing retail products and services whilst driving new revenue streams via an innovative approach to merchandising, sales and distribution. He has led and empowered talented sales and service teams to outpace competitors by delivering outstanding customer experiences. Damian is responsible for developing the Circle K franchise network through the development of new sites whilst supporting and maintaining the existing network. He is the front line contact for all new and existing franchisees.
Senior Project Manager
Fergal has over 21 years experience working in the oil industry. He has worked in a number of different areas including retail sales, commercial sales, project management and industry bodies. Fergal joined Circle K in early 2015 and has been responsible for the introduction of a number of projects for Circle K including the integration of the Esso Ireland business. As Business Development Manager, he has explored and introduced many opportunities that have generated additional revenue and footfall to the Circle K retail network and that are fully aligned with Couche-Tards business strategy and vision. For the past 18 months Fergal has been the Skyfall Project manager, coordinating the introduction of the Circle K brand into the Irish retail market, working closely with all functions across the Irish and European business units. Fergal holds a Diploma in Marketing Administration and a Degree in Marketing. Fergals previous experience includes working in a variety of retail sales roles, including working for Coca Cola & Heineken Ireland selling into independent retailers, multiples and off-trade businesses.
